With a free master's thesis, Valentin completed his architectural education in 2022 as a Master of Science ETH. During his time at university, he was engaged in crafts with various building materials, preferably in furniture construction. These experiments in plywood and ferrocement aroused in him an interest in force-optimized shaping and lightweight structures. In addition to his education at ETH Zurich, he worked in various architectural offices. Through his initial training as a structural draftsman, which he completed in 2013 with several awards, he is well acquainted with Swiss building culture.
As a scientific assistant at the Chair of Structural Design at ETH Zurich, he continues to work on the development of optimized structures. At the same time, he can pass on his knowledge from the construction industry.
